Introduction

PPR4220 is a random copolymerized polypropylene (PP-R) pipe material developed by Beijing Yanshan Petrochemical Company on the basis of liquid-gas phase bulk polypropylene device with annual output of 40,000 tons, the products are developed mainly according to the standard requirements of ISO / DIS 15874, DIN8077 and 8078 polypropylene pipes for hot and cold water and the performance index of material imported from abroad and the increasing demand for pipes used in construction and floor heating, it is especially suitable for the pressure pipe under high temperature.

The product is a kind of polypropylene copolymer product with low melting index and high molecular weight, natural color grain, non-toxic, tasteless, light, and its density is 0.90 to 0.91 g/cm³. And this product has the characteristics of excellent physical-mechanical property, chemical stability, anti-aging, excellent processing ability and outstanding heat resistance, and it also has excellent deflection performance and impact resistance, and it also has good resistance to stress cracking creep performance. Its pipes have the characteristics of lightweight, corrosion-resistant, non-scaling, long life and so on. It also has good sanitation performance, thermal insulation and energy saving, better heat resistance, easy installation, reliable connection, recyclable material and so on. In accordance with the requirements of users, toner of different colors and color master batch can be well-mixed and worked out extrusive pipe with uniform color and stable performance. Among them, the product has also passed national chemical construction materials testing centre hydraulic pressure test (110 ℃, 1.9Mpa, 12,000 hours, no pipe leakage and no damage).

PPR4220 is a kind of tasteless green environment protection pipe material, and its promoter is also in line with food sanitation requirements. According to customers’ requests, these colors can be provided: native color, grey, green, white, and so on.

Product application

This product can be widely used in hot and cold water systems of building, and floor heating facilities, and directly drinking pure water supply system including the delivery of food and beverage, and central (centralized) air-conditioning systems, and chemical pipeline system for transportation or discharge of chemical media and other industrial chemical emissions. And it has the advantages of convenient connecting (thermal fusion welding, electric fusion welding, pipe fitting connection), recycling, simple technology and easy operation and so on.

Molding Conditions

It is required that the L/D ratio of single screw extruder should be 25 to 30, and L/D ratio of single screw extruder 30 is recommended.
